[Notes] Lizzie - Who's Who?

There are a LOT of characters in Lizzie. Likely too many, especially for the format and genre in which Lizzie resides in. I may have accidentally taken too much inspiration from the fantasy novels and their hundred person casts 😂

More than a couple of people have mentioned this as a concern, and I agree.

While I tried to segregate when the characters were introduced in the chapter, providing some foreshadowing and subtle references along the way, I understand that it's difficult to remember all of these characters. Do be aware that, as a reader, you aren't yet expected to have a good understanding of all of the characters, particularly those introduced in the last chapter. They will continue to be developed over time.

I'm still very much experimenting with my writing. For example, how I originally introduced Alice was purposely subtle, without direct context. However, it turned out to be confusing for some readers, and after rereading it a few more times, I agreed with the feedback. This is why your comments and feedback are vital to me! They allow me to learn / grow as a writer, so I can write better stories in the future!

For now though, I don't plan to remove characters from Lizzie's story. While some of the adults will play more background roles, the children are all pivotal to the story arcs moving forward.

So instead, this document outlines who's who, given only the information from the story thus-far. I'll update this document with new information as new chapters are released (Still thinking of how to do so w/o spoilers). Here, I'll outline their relationships, but I'll minimize the amount of description of their characters. I, of course, hold plenty more notes on our cast members, but I want their characterization to reflect through the story organically rather than as a "stats-sheet".

The Cooper Family

• Lizzie (Elizabeth Grace Cooper) - Our main character. "Almost 14" at the start of the story.

• Terry - Lizzie's teddy bear

• Philip - Lizzie's father. Ex Military.

• Jennifer - Lizzie's mother.

The Grandparents

• Grandpa Kenneth - Father of Jennifer

• Grandma Maggie - Mother of Jennifer

• Grandpa Ben - Father of Philip. Avid chess player. Passed away.

• Nathan - The tallest guy in Lizzie’s grade. Skinny and wears glasses. Quite shy, but Lizzie thinks he’s quite cute.

• Morgan - Classmate. Nosy. Likes picking fights.

• Darren Lowe - High schooler. Family is rich and famous in the area.

• Megan Windsor - Younger sister of Madison. One of the only people dismissive toward Madison.
